Install

Basic

Download the latest version of xn.debug and move the file function.debug.php to your project directory. After that, you could simple include the file in your PHP application and activate the debugger with the next step:

For example index.php

<?php
require_once('function.debug.php');
__debug(true); // true = enable or false = disable

It is very important that you will place this code at first position in your PHP application, before the first output was send.

Warning: don't use on public servers without restricting access!

Advanced

You could also activate the integrated error handler if you like with this simple function call:

__debug(true,"error:handler");

You should disable the debuggers output, if your script is not returning a full html page. This could be very important for returning valid JSON code or binary data like images as example.

__debug('none','config:outputHandler');
